Scheduling Appointments

Before we can schedule your first appointment we need a completed New Patient Form so we can create your patient records in our system and then we will contact you with available dates and times.

Our office appreciates your promptness in arriving for your child’s dental visit. We reserve a specific time for your child according to their dental needs and level of cooperation. We request that younger, pre-school and grade school age children (age 8 and under) be scheduled early in the day when they are more rested, alert and receptive to treatment. School age children with extensive dental treatment needs are also only seen in the morning for the same reason.

Please be aware that after school appointment times are in high demand and therefore will always have limited availability. It will be necessary for your child to miss part of their school day for their dental appointment at some point, there is no way around it. Dental appointments are excused absences from school and we will gladly provide a school excuse form for your child.

We value your time and will do our best to remain on schedule throughout the day. We do ask that you please remember that some patients may require more patience and emergencies can throw off our schedule. We ask for your patience and that you please keep in mind that your child may be the next one needing our extra attention.

As a courtesy, our automated system will send appointment notifications and text reminders that allow you to confirm or cancel an appointment and WE ASK THAT YOU CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE TEXT MESSAGE. Missed appointments or short term cancellations (less than 48 hours notice) will result in a $50 fee because they are costly to us and unfair to other patients who are in need of appointments. Please see our Financial Policy for important information relating to missed appointments and associated fees. Repeated missed appointments of any kind will result in dismissal from our practice.
